5 stars for food and service. We had Penne Funghi, tuna steak and grilled fish. All of them taste amazing and fresh. They have good mocktails and a place to chill late at night. As of mocktails, we had kita rose and mango punch. Highly recommend kita rose which has a well-balanced flavor of banana, mint, lime and rose. The only drawback is their outdoor seating has low table seating which is not great for eating a main course meal.Make sure to pre-order grilled fish or grilled lobster 1 hr ahead.

A wonderful evening at this restaurant. The food was delightful, with fresh seafood, excellent hummus, and extremely friendly staff catering to every need. The perfect place for a seaside evening in Maafushi. Recommended for a peaceful night with live music, suitable for both groups and couples. Thank you!

From the very first moment, the entire staff greeted us with the best energy and warm smiles, making us feel truly welcome and cared for.The ambiance of the restaurant is charming, perfect for enjoying a relaxed meal after a day of exploring the island. One of the highlights of our visits was the live music. Their singer is incredibly talented, and on one occasion, he learned to sing Here Without You by 3 Doors Down in just a few minutes, despite never having performed it before. He delivered a spectacular performance that left everyone amazed and made our evening even more special.I especially want to highlight the team’s effort to accommodate my dietary needs. Knowing that I am allergic to sesame, they took all the necessary precautions to ensure my meals were prepared with the utmost care, which I deeply appreciated.Every dish we tried was delicious, showcasing an excellent combination of local and international flavors. The team at Moonlight doesn’t just offer quality food but also exceptional service that makes you want to come back again and again.I 100% recommend this restaurant if you visit Maafushi, Maldives.
